Age 80 and a lifelong resident of Wilmington, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee.
Born September 9, 1932 in Chicago, Loretta was a daughter of the late James and Lillian Bart-Setneska. Loretta married Dwight Walters on April 1, 1960 and he preceded her in death in 2001. Mrs. Walters worked mainly as a homemaker.
Surviving are three sons: Richard (Lyn) Lade of Manteno, Dwight Walters, Jr. of Morris and Mike Walters of Mountainair, New Mexico; one brother James (Betty) Setneska of Selma, North Carolina; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Loretta was preceded in death by her parents; husband Dwight Walters, Sr.; one son Dale James Lade; one grandson Timothy Francis Lade; one granddaughter-in-law Christina Lade and three great grandchildren: Bridget Perry, Josh Perry and Jacob Francis Lade.
Private family visitation and funeral services will be held at Freitag-Reeves & Baskerville Funeral Home in Wilmington. Deacon Don Dyer will officiate the services and burial will follow in Bohemian National Cemetery in Braidwood.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Loretta’s memory to Hospice of Kankakee Valley, 482 Main Street Northwest, Bourbonnais, Illinois 60914.
